This 1935 ELGIN grade 488 model 1 seems to be barely used but won’t wind. The balance wheel seems ok but will only rock a couple of times then stops when manually coaxed. The dial is great and movement polished. Rolled gold plate case is stamped as such with only a few very fine scratches on case back. Bezel and case sides show light scratches probably more from rattling in a drawer than from use. Crystal almost free of scratches. Wrist band is stamped English Pigskin and there is no evidence ...
