A 1956, 9ct gold vintage Rolex Precision watch. The case measures 34mm in diameter with ‘coin edge’ engraving to the sides, and 17mm lug size. The case is signed DS&S (David Shackman & Sons, case makers), hallmarked London 1959 and numbered. The manual wind, calibre 1210 movement is signed Montres Rolex SA, Geneva Swiss, with 17 jewels, centre sweep seconds and numbered. The champagne dial has raised gold coronet at twelve, raised gold arrow head hour indicators, with fine gilt ‘pleines’...
