This is an operational German made Elgin Sportsman automatic watch. Watch has been wound, and tested and it kept accurate time for 24 hours with less than 1 minute error. We have not tested the self-winding function. The face is clear with no loss to paint, numerals or indicators. Although the watch has some significant wear on the sides (brassing) and the crystal is also scratched, these flaws are not very evident when being worn.
