I am the original owner of this watch. I was in Japan in 84 and might have bought it on that trip but I am not sure. Wore it for a few years in the mid 80's and it has been sitting in a drawer ever since. I put a new battery and gasket in and its running well and all the functions work except when you reset the stopwatch it goes to 11 seconds after the hour instead of noon (see video).
