This is a cool looking vintage manual wind watch from Avalon that was probably made in the early 1950s. The 17 jewels, ETA 1080 caliber movement was cleaned and oiled; it runs strong and keeps time. The cosmetics are not too bad. The dial has a few spots but not that noticeable IMHO. The case and crystal are decent. While the case is only 25mm in diameter, the watch has 16mm lugs, so I cleaned the expansion band and left it on the watch. The case is 25mm wide not counting the crown, and 31mm lon...
