Adanac Watch

This Adanac wristwatch was issued to the US military. Made by Gallet and Co a Canadian based company. Adanac is Canada backward; I wish I knew the story behind that. Was it a tongue in cheek joke? Canada on a US military issued watch? The story lost in time, I guess. This is the more clean dial issued in 1986.
