Antique Mens Waltham Premier G.f. Watch

This is a men's Waltham Premier watch in very nice antique condition. The gold filled case has no spots with base metal showing, and has a G.F. back' The dial and numerals have no wear. The watch sets the time well, but when the crown is pushed in, the stem appears to be disconnected from the mainspring, it doesn't wind. The balance appears to be OK but I don't know much about watch movements. My guess is it would need a cleaning and reconnect for winding, please keep in mind my limited knowledg...
