So I am fairly certain this has had a case back switch. The back plate is a Wadsworth base metal, however, as you can see by the wear spots on the bezel and strap, strong indications of originally gold filled, the wear is just very consistent with that. The movement is currently unworking. It basically just never stops winding. When I wind it, you can see the gears move, but no tension is exerted and it does not run.
