I have just serviced this gem and installed a new mainspring of coarse. This is the Hamilton "Boulton" model wrist watch and it is a gold filled two piece snap in back case. The serial number is written on the inside of the back of this case and it is S-329,943 "14 karat gold filled". From lug to lug this Hamilton case is 38mm long and wide less the crown it is 24mm so it is not a large piece. The dial has patina changed and it is factory original never cleaned nor altered.
