This is the Hamilton "Ross" men's wristwatch, issued in 1947 in appreciation to an executive of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers of Kolkata India. The back is so inscribed. The case is 14K gold-filled. The numerals and hand are gold, raised. Manual wind. 17 jewels. Lug to lug: 1 5/8". Width is 3/4". Thickness is a 5/8" dome. It keeps perfect time.
