Here is a very nice tank style case Hamilton mechanical wristwatch, circa 1940. I'm measuring the watch dial at about 30mm by 19 mm, looks similar to the Gruen Curvex watches of the era. See pictures, original dial, gold numbers and markers, gold hands, second chapter at 6 position. S&W 14K gold filled case back with no engraving. I could not get the case open, I assume watch has a 17or 19 jewel movement. The watch ticks and keeps decent time, of course you should have it serviced before wearing...
