This vintage Longines dates from 1948 and has survived in remarkable condition being 76 years old. The stainless steel case measures 33mm excluding crown with a mechanical movement caliber 12.68Z and bearing a serial number 7'512'300. The reference number is 5814 and was invoiced on 19 October 1948 to the Longines Swiss agent Ostersetzer. The enlarged fancy fluted lugs makes the watch wear bigger on the wrist and the dial is original with no sign of water penetration. The strap is not original. ...
