Here is a nurse’s watch, worn as a brooch or a pendant to tell the time whilst keeping it away from the hands. It comes from the 1950s, as indicated by the red painted metal hand and the military-style easy-reader hour markers, which are filled with radioactive radium that would have once glowed in the dark (and could be repainted to glow again).
