This handsome and scarce Driver’s Style Lord Elgin 21 Jewel wristwatch from 1950 has very long hinged lugs and can be worn on the small of the wrist as a Driver’s Watch or in the conventional position. The black dial is very good – lustrous with just a few flecks of dust. The case itself measures about 20mm each way, the stacked barrels top and bottom add a few mm and the long hinged lugs are 13mm - a strong look and visually quite attractive.
