Here is a nice looking vintage 1946 Elgin 17 jewels 558 mens 10K gold filled watch that was a presentation watch from a travelers group in Washington DC in 1946 and is engraved on the back cover. The watch is not running (the balance wheel is not moving freely) and will need repair before use. The 10K gold filled case is in good condition just showing some small areas of plate loss on the case corners but no dings or dents. The original dial shows some light wear and is still clear.
