A very unusual and interesting watch. May be quartz, I do not know. Not sure of exact age of watch. It is not running and I am no watch authority so I do not know why it is not running. I have not tried to remove the back either in order to see what type movement the watch has. The stem turns freely. You can set the hands and set them.
