Pierce Chronograph Running

A vintage early Pierce Chronograph. I believe it's a model 134. I've been watching it for 2 days now and it seems to run and it's been keeping time to within a few minutes. I purchased the watch this way and I believe the plating has been totally polished off. It looks nice though, better than pitted chrome. The back is stainless. The crown is replaced clearly. The lower button starts the chronograph, which is a bit jumpy and immediately gaps three or four seconds ahead and then starts running. ...
