When you push the button the red light flashes and the Mickey Mouse Club theme tune plays. I had all three (yes three!) batteries replaced with brand new. Works perfectly. The watch itself is in EXCELLENT condition. Looks like it was barely if ever worn. The strap, however, is peeling in a couple of areas on the back. It still works fine but could use replacing.
