Rare Vintage Crystal Quartz Alarm Wristwatch

This was my father’s CRYSTAL quartz alarm wristwatch we found it when clearing the house out , we think it’s from the 1970s or so . I think it may need a new battery or repair as the numbers come and go ,they come on for a few seconds then disappear , the light button still lights up and it has its original strap . May be of some use to someone even for the parts ....
