Reportedly only 1500 were ever made before Rolex released their quartz movement in the same case in 1977. The 1530 uses Rolex’s std. 1570 automatic mechanical movement that was used on most other Rolex models of the day. So no need to worry about electronics breaking and not being able to get parts.
