This is the daily wristwatch that was used by my mother in the 1980's or 1990's until it stopped functioning. My mother never tried to determine what was wrong, or tried to fix it. The back of the watch face is engrave (see photo): "CITIZEN. Water Resist. Base Metal. 5930-S99159. 430321. HSB (arrow) 9. Mov't Japan." The watch face is clear with few superficial scratches.
