This is a vintage Elgin model 554, 15 jewel, men's wrist watch with case. It is 10k gold filled (acid tested). Runs well. Has edge wear on the case and band. The patent number on the band is from 1941. The band maker is JB. The watch dial is dirty. The crystal is clean and clear but is popped off the watch and I will not try to set it back in. (broke too many in the past) The case is great looking inside. Some light stains on outside....
