This is a very clean 1949 Elgin 15 Jewel 554 USA wind-up mens watch featuring sub-second hand with ORIGINAL band. Clasp shows 025 gold content. The clear domed crystal shows evenly aged face to read simply "ELGIN" and the back reads "JD base metal". The inside of back and clean movement should be visible to read in the photos. Runs great and tells good time....
