Vintage Grand Prix Election Ltd Military Wristwatch 1940s

This is (I believe) a 1940’s era vintage Grand Prix wristwatch by the Swiss company Election. The current band is not original, according to the serial number this is a military type watch. It does run but I cannot guarantee its reliability. It has usual wear marks on the watch, inside on the case back are dates of when it was serviced. I will answer any questions I can however I am not an expert. My collection consists of watches I liked. Im downsizing and will accept any reasonable offer....
