Gruen watch with Swiss made 500C 15 jewel handwind movement winds, sets, runs as it should; was serviced and stored away years ago. Gold filled case shows typical wear; high rise crystal looks news; dial has considerable spotting but is quite legible; gold hands and markers are very good. The 500C movement was apparently the predecessor to the famous Curvex line, and is quite long and very curved – a truly elegant piece of 30s styling. Brown leather band is worn but quite usable.
