A Gruen wristwatch produced in the mid-20th century (circa 1930s-1940s). The watch, a wind-up model, works and has a leather band. Our father loved the aesthetic of the 1920s through 1940s. He was a habitue of flea markets and tag sales. When he saw a watch he liked from that era, he would buy it, take it to a jeweler, have it reconditioned, and add a new band.
