Vintage Seiko Data 2000 Watch With Keyboard

Seiko wrist computer watch – very rare in this condition. Good quality, but having trouble getting the keyboard to control the watch. As you can see in the photo, the watch is on but the contrast is reset after putting in a new battery. You can control the contrast with the keyboard but the connection doesn't seem to be working. I believe it may just need to fix the copper coil in the watch. This worked perfect a few years ago. Let me know if you have any questions!...
