made in Great Britain, 1M70 marking, roman numerals on dial,and at the bottom of the dial 9434 and 4070 which meansroman numeral dial and model 40 built in 1970. I understand these watches replace the mainspring with a littlebattery-powered motor so it's essentially a mechanical watch. 4 batteries (one new in watch, see photos for snapshots while running)and three extra.
