Gold plate is 10 microns (super thick), watch runs and shows very well with signs of age but no scratches on crystal and looks great where it counts. Good sapphire crystal, well built watch. Water resistant to 30m, battery recently replaced, 6 Jewel ETA/Certina Movement (SA133-1/978002) that works very well. Comes complete with pleather case.
