You are buying a Breitling chronograph wristwatch. Some online research suggests the watch dates from 1947. The movement bears the Venus company stamp and the number "170". The case diameter is 32mm @ 12 & 6 and 34.2 @ 9 & 3. The lug to lug distance is 44mm.
