An exceptional WWI trench watch with a rare integrated shrapnel guard. Case is silver, approximately 34mm wide excluding large crown. Dial appears to be in good shape. No brand on dial. Movement is Buren "Imperial" and I think that it is labeled 15 Jewels. Hour hand has mercedes design, simpler minutes hand and subsidiary seconds chapter at 6. Back has initials "AAH" and "1918".
